For the past several
years I have been a patron of Dio Dinos' musical instruments. At the
time, I came into the shop for a repair on an antique Oud that I really
wanted to play but I couldn't.
To my amazement, Dino made
this 100 year old Oud come to life; something I never expected. Instead
of being a wall ornament, now I can enjoy playing and hearing its beautiful
sound. Since that day Dino custom built many instruments for me. Three
bouzoukia, one Laouto and one Tzoura. In addition he has done numerous
repairs on my extensive collection of stringed instruments, vintage
and new. His expertise and experience combined with tools and materials
brings a master's touch to everything he does. I am extremely satisfied
with every instrument I have purchased from Dino and would highly recommend
him to anyone looking for a quality musical instrument whether it is
for a beginner, on a budget, or an accomplished player looking for collection.
I failed to mention that
during the course of our relationship, we have become best friends.
After many nights in the repair shop we would share a glass of wine
and a fish dinner at a local taverna (tavern) in Astoria, Queens. Being
a business-man myself, Dino and I shared our mutual experiences in today's
fast paced world . I feel very close to my friend and mentor, who welcomed
me into his shop and at his table. It is difficult to find a friend
as true as Dino.
I consider Dino World Class
in my book
