Welcome to Dio Dino's Greek bouzouki maker, bagalama and other Greek instruments and music store

My inspiration comes in helping spread the rich Greek musical tradition around the world and give our youth new ways of spending their free time in more productive ways.

I am always searching for new sounds in traditional Greek stringed instruments like the BOUZOUKI, BAGLAMA, TZOURA and the LAOUTO. Through research and experimentation I've created a family of hybrid instruments such as the LAOUTO-KITHARO (BOWL-BACK GUITAR), the LAOUTO-BOUZOUKO and the BOUZOUTI. This search has paved the way towards the development of the next generation in musical instruments. Through the marriage of modern technology and traditional lutherie practices come my new additions to the bouzouki family: the MIDIBOUZ (synthesized bouzouki) and the Silencer (my version of a solid body travel/practice bouzouki). My hope is that these advances will help the family of Greek musical instrumentsbecome more popular with other cultures.
